Non-operational licences

Upcoming Award of 800 MHz and 2.6 GHz Spectrum

Please note that although Ofcom will consider applications for non operational licences that use or overlap the upcoming 800MHz / 2.6GHz award spectrum, any licences issued that have a licence period that extends beyond the end of that award process will be reviewed at the time that licences for use of the 800MHz and 2.6GHz spectrum are granted at the end of that award process, and this may result in them being subject to modification, restriction or revocation at this point. In addition technical details of licences in this spectrum or that overlap it may also be disclosed to award winners to enable an analysis of the potential interference risk to be made.
